Central Florida is Home to 9 of the Top Amusement Parks in the World
It’s one of the reasons we love Orlando so much. What is not to love when you are within a hour’s drive of 9 of the top amusement parks in the work, according to TripAdvisor’s 2014 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
Sitting in the coveted #1 spot is Discovery Cove, SeaWorld’s all-inclusive day resort where guest swim with the dolphins. TripAdvisor said its list was based on millions of user reviews.
That title goes to Discovery Cove, SeaWorld Orlando’s sister park, which was the highest-rated amusement park in TripAdvisor’s 2014 Travelers’ Choice Awards.
Rounding out the top five Central Florida parks are Universal’s Islands of Adventure (3), the Magic Kingdom (4) and Disney’s Hollywood Studios (5).
Five more Florida parks also made the top twenty-five: Disney’s Animal Kingdom (10), SeaWorld Orlando (11), Busch Gardens Tampa Bay (14), Epcot (16), and Universal Studios Florida (20).
