Orlando theme park ticket prices increase, just before the summer rush.
Busch Gardens Tampa and SeaWorld Orlando announced this week they are increasing the cost of a single-day ticket purchased at the gate to $95 for adults, which is an increase of $3. Discount tickets are available from the SeaWorld website. Multipark tickets, which include the Aquatica water park, as well as SeaWorld Orlando and Busch Gardens Fun Cards also increased.
A few months ago, Disney increased the cost of a single-day ticket to Magic Kingdom to $99. Universal Orlando also increased the cost of a single-day ticket price earlier in the year to $96.
So it seems that it will cost around $100 a day to visit the major theme parks in Orlando this year unless you purchase a multi-day pass, have discounts or purchase an annual pass.
It kind of reminds me of gasoline prices—what’s the tipping point?
