An Atlas V rocket is set to launch on Tuesday night, 01/20, from Cape Canaveral Air Force Station. The launch is scheduled for 7:43p Tuesday, 01/20.
The United Launch Alliance (ULA) Atlas V rocket carries the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS-3) is a series of U.S. Navy next- generation satellite communications systems designed to significantly improves ground communications for U.S. military forces, providing users 10 times more communications capability via voice, video and data, through the use of 3G communications technology.
This is the third satellite in the series to launch. With this launch ULA is marks its first launch of 2015 and the 52nd launch of the Atlas V rocket.
